Hey I'm Lindsey. I was born in Shanghai. I think when I was around 3 years old, my family moved to the US. I've been here in Oklahoma ever since. Most of my friends don't believe that I'm Chinese at first. Probably because I don't know how to speak Mandarin fluently and that I can't memorize all characters and I don't look Asian in the first place. But I do visit my grandparents every year - at least twice a year. If I can't be with them on special celebrations like the Chinese new year, we set up video conferencing so I can see and speak with them, as if we're just having our New Year's meal ^.^
